In July I needed to ship my household belongings from central London to my place in Nevis. Not having done this before and being somewhat leery about entrusting my goods to a shipping company picked from the "Yellow Pages" I was at a loss what to do. I visited the St Kitts & Nevis High Commission in Kensington W8 and while there picked up a copy of your brochure. I contacted your office on by telephone and the person dealing with me was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and patient with a neophyte shipping this route.
I arranged for some drums to be delivered to delivered to my flat - which unfortunately for your delivery man "John, was located on the 2nd floor (no lift) and they were delivered as arranged. After packing them, I arranged for a pick-up a few days later. Once again the same delivery man came as arranged and somehow managed to negotiate the London traffic and even park in a notoriously difficult area. While some might have grumbled about moving heavy drums down multiple and narrow stairs, he was enthusiastic and positive. Basically, it was hard but he just got on and did what had to be done. I returned to Nevis the day after his pickup.
In less than a month I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by your representative in Nevis advising that the goods had arrived. I met with him and gave him a list of the contents of the four containers. After the intervening weekend he let me know that he had completed his work with Nevis Customs. The customs duties were reasonable as was his handling charge. The goods were picked up the same day.
The drums were intact and secure. Nothing had been broken.
While some people may have had problems shipping, I thought I'd let you know that your staff and associates were first-rate. Your system worked flawlessly from door-to-door. Thanks for making what can be a frustrating experience painless. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in either using your firm again or in recommending your firm to others. Well done !

"We were planning to emigrate to New Zealand. The mammoth task of course was to get all our treasured belongings over to us. We entrusted this to Transpakship Ltd. On meeting Elizabeth and Gary, we were immediately placed at ease and felt an instant and huge sense of relief. Their knowledge and expertise were clearly evident and the task was taken out of our hands. Nearer the time Gary contacted us to arrange the packing process. We were offered a range of services and chose to pack over a number of weeks using their export professional packers (and they were expert!). Dave and Ray arrived on the arranged morning at the exact arranged time. They were smartly dressed, very well mannered, polite, highly professional and soon got about the business of packing which, in itself, was an art. They had quality packaging materials and all the resources required to ensure our items were robustly secured but in a space efficient way.
Gary was always available for any questions (or panics) we had and each time we spoke, he left us with a feeling of calm and reassurance. At such a traumatic time, it was such a wonderful feeling to have someone at the end of the phone who had experienced the procedures endless number of times and knew exactly what to do in every given situation. His advice and his caring manner were both invaluable.
The packing was finalised to coordinate with our flights and we left the UK in the sound knowledge that our shipment would be safe, secure and well looked after.
We took delivery in New Zealand and found that our high expectations of TPS Ltd were fully realised. The shipment was delivered in immaculate condition with no damage and strict and specific instructions had been provided to the New Zealand partners in relation to certain items which required special handling e.g. an inherited antique piano.
We know first hand that TPS arrange packaging, removals, export and storage with highly qualified, professional and personable staff, using excellent facilities and equipment along with up to date and fit for purpose vehicles. We now understand that the team have recently embarked on the provision of an estate agency service which completes the package of a whole removal experience. Our view can only be that with their high efficiency, knowledge of the service provision, their understanding of personal requirements and the unique and invaluable personal touch, you could not employ a better team of professionals to sell your house, or indeed to purchase a house from, than TPS Estates."
